Mailing lists allow a single email message to be sent to many email addresses seamlessly and systematically.

Availability

Our preferred mailing list product is “Mailman”.

We can provide you with a mailing list service if you have a “virtual” email server hosted with us.

Prices

A fee of $60+GST is charged to setup a mailing list for you. Up to 5 lists can be setup at the same time for this price. Please note we may charge a configuration change fee of $30+GST for changes after this initial setup.

Technical Information

mailing list names

Mailing list names must have two parts, a domain prefix and a suffix chosen by you. For example mydomain.com might have a list named mydomain-staff. Mail can be sent to the address mydomain-staff@mydomain.com.

mailing list aliases

We recommend that an “email alias” be created for the list name. For example the list alias staff@mydomain.com could be used for the list mydomain-staff@mydomain.com. This gives you a simpler and easier to remember mailing list name to work with.
