Usernames & Accounts

All Carringbush.Net customers are provided with a username and a password. You need an account to access most carringbush services including:

  • checking for email messages
  • accessing the control panel for your website
  • getting ftp access to your website
  • to change yourpassword
  • accessing your account details
  • making changes to a website
  • using custom built software

Choosing a Username

You can choose any username as long as the name follows these guidelines:

  • the name is between 3 and 12 characters long
  • it starts with a letter
  • it contains only numbers and letters
  • is not already in use
  • is not a generic word such as info or sales
